We have two locations:

Yes, with a firm first release date, quantity and contract end date.

What is your minimum order?
Full carton quantity or $25 per line item

How late can I place an order and have it ship same day?
We try to use the following timeframes to ensure that your order can be prepared in time for a same-day pick up:
11:00 a.m. CST for product shipping via truck
2:00 p.m. CST for a UPS shipment

Where does Aztech Locknut ship from?
We ship all orders from our warehouse located in Aurora, IL, just 40 miles West of Chicago, Illinois.

What are the dimensions of the boxes used to ship Aztech Locknuts?
5.75 x 5.75 x 8

Does Aztech have freight allowances?
No, F.O.B. our dock, but we are happy to ship whatever way is most affordable to you.

Can Aztech ship orders in plain boxes & drop ship to our customers?
We can drop ship anywhere. We can also pack production parts in plain boxes, standard inventory is in Aztech boxes. (Repacking stock in plain boxes may be approved in special circumstances & at an additional handling cost.)

Is your product considered domestic?
Product that is locked, heat-treated and plated in the U.S. is generally considered domestic per the added-value rule.  However, each item may be different, so it’s best to contact your Account Manager for more details.

What standard do you reference for Torque, Proof load and Hardness for your inch series locknuts?
Answer: IFI 100/107-2002.

What speed do you assemble a locknut on a mating bolt?
Answer: IFI spec is 30 rotations per minute. Assemble as slow as you can get away with.

Is Aztech certified to a Quality Standard?
Answer: Yes, ISO 9001/AS9100.

Do you have material certifications available and is there a charge for them?
Material and performance certifications are always free upon request.

Are you ISO 9000 registered?
Yes, since 1998. A copy of our registration is available on our Web site under “Quality”.

Are all metal locknuts always waxed?
All of our all-metal locknuts go through our waxing machine prior to being packaged except for the oil-based platings, such as: Phosphate/Oil. The supplementary lubricant (wax) is formulated for locknuts. The locknuts will be clean and dry to the touch.

Does installation speed effect the prevailing torque? 
Yes, the prevailing torque will increase.

What seating torque should be applied in my assembly?
This torque needs to be established by the OEM. Guidance “under specified laboratory conditions only” can be found in standard IFI-101

Does the nylon insert color identify a nylon insert locknut class or strength?
No, the nylon insert color identifies the locknut manufacturer. Aztech Locknut’s trademark color is ORANGE.
